Mungret & District Game Preservation Association was established in 1979 by a group of people drawn from the parishes of Mungret, Ballybrown, Patrickswell and Crecora. This was the first association to unite these parishes under the one name.

The first years membership consisted of 29 members and has grown in size in its 35 years of existence to a current level of 100+ members.

From the outset the club has been an active part of the parish life with an objective to conserve, promote, restock and develop the sport of rough shooting game and wildlife management.

We believe our success can be seen in what we have today, one of the biggest and most progressive gun clubs in Ireland.

Happy Hunting!
