Rules of the Association

 

   
 

a)  Should any member conduct himself in such a way that in the opinion of the Committee is derogatory or detrimental to the association   or acts in breach of the shooting regulations the commitee may call upon him for an explanation and if they think  fit, they may penalise or remove such member from membership without obligation to refund his/her subscription provided that before penalising or expelling any member from membership the committee shall advise the offending member of the nature of the charges being made against him, the nature of the evidence before the Committee and that the Committee intend to expel the offending member unless a satisfactory explanation is furnished or that they intend to impose some other form of penalty.

   
  b) The Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer shall be entitled in cases of emergency to do such acts and things as necessary to protect the interests of the Club, provided that they shall as soon thereafter as it is practicable have their action ratified at a 

Committee Meeting specially convened to consider the said emergency.

   
  c)  Any Committee member who shall fail to attend three consecutive Committee Meetings may be required by a simple majority of the Committee to relinquish his/her position on the Committee whereupon he/she shall no longer be a member of the Committee and another member may be co-opted to fill the vacancy.
